The membership guidelines for ´ºÓêÖ±²¥'s All Volunteer Effort (W.A.V.E.) are summarized as follows:
Eligibility and Participation

• General Enrollment: Membership is open to all students enrolled at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University.
• Officer Requirements: Both members and officers must be currently enrolled WIU students.
• Associate Membership: Non-students may participate as associate members, but they are prohibited from voting or holding office.
• Open Participation: Membership is not required to attend meetings, events, or service projects.
• Voting and President Eligibility: Official membership is required to vote in elections and to run for the office of President.

Enrollment and Maintenance

• Official Process: Membership is established or renewed by completing the W.A.V.E. form on Leatherneck Link at the start of the Fall and Spring semesters.
• No Maintenance Requirements: There are no specific requirements to maintain active membership status.
• Hour Tracking: Members are encouraged to log their volunteer hours via Leatherneck Link and Sign-Up Genius.
• Dues: There are currently no dues to be a member of W.A.V.E.
