University Communications and MarketingÌýpromotes ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University’s mission and goals to the public, as well as strategic communication services and support to the WIU community.
University Communications and Marketing includes:
- News writers, an editor and office staff;
- Design and publications staff, who produce high-quality materials supporting ´ºÓêÖ±²¥â€™s marketing, advancement, development, student recruitment, and orientation and retention efforts;
- University marketing and branding initiatives;
- Freedom of Information requests; and
- the University's social media initiatives.
UniversityÌýCommunications and MarketingÌýstaff work with media representatives, community leaders, state and federal officials, ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ administrators, students, faculty, staff and alumni, and the public. The office develops and produces a wide array of printed publications, social media and web communications, and other forms of communication designed to disseminate information about the University, its programs, faculty, students and alumni.
