The crime log incidents posted may not match the crime statistics as reported in the ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Campus Security and Fire Safety Report per the federal Clery Act, as the crime log is compiled using the Illinois Crimes Code and the crime statistics are required by law to be compiled using the Federal Uniformed Crime Reporting definitions.

According to federal law, an institution may withhold any of the required fields of entry, e.g. the nature, date, time, location and/or disposition, if any of the following conditions apply. Disclosure is prohibited: by law; would jeopardize the confidentiality of the victim; would jeopardize an ongoing criminal investigation or the safety of an individual; would cause a suspect to flee or evade detection; or would result in the destruction of evidence.


On Oct. 18 at 7:27 p.m., Sathony Brown, 21, of Boynton Beach, FL, was arrested at West Pierce Street Liquor. At 7:31 p.m., Brown was transported to McDonough County Jail where he was lodged.

On Oct. 18 at 11:57 p.m., a student was issued a judicial referral for cannabis uses and alcohol suspicion at Corbin Hall.

On Oct. 19 at 11:29 a.m., Eric Reedus, 21, of Cahokia, was arrested for an existing warrant . At 11:32 a.m., Reedus was transported to McDonough County Jail where he was lodged.

On Oct. 19 at 10:13 p.m., Brody Harket, 19, of Morrisonville, was issued a notice to appear Nov. 3 for speed and no proof of insurance at the intersection of University Dr. and North Quad Dr.

On Oct. 19 at 11:01 p.m., Bryanna Wilson, 23, of Macomb, was issued a notice to appear Nov. 3 for driving with a suspended registration at the 900 block of W. Murray St.
