AIM HIGH ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Commitment Scholarships are available to incoming freshmen and amounts may vary up to $6,000.ÌýÌý
What are the requirements?
- Incoming freshman
Award Amount Eligibility (What You Need) Scholarship Renewal Requirements Up to $6,000 3.5 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale 3.0 GPA at WIU, maximum of six additional semesters of undergraduate classes Up to $4,000 3.00 - 3.49 GPA on a 4.0 scale 3.0 GPA at WIU, maximum of six additional semesters of undergraduate classes  - The GPA for incoming students is based on the final, official transcript from high school.
 - Submit a current year FAFSA or Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid with WIU as a school choice prior to the start of the semester of award.
 - Enroll full-time in WIU undergraduate courses (requires continuous enrollment in fall and spring semesters each year).
 
What else do I need to know?
- Scholarships will be disbursed in equal amounts between the fall and spring semesters.
 - Total financial aid and scholarships cannot exceed the cost of attendance for ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University (tuition, fees, on-campus housing, dining) and no refunds will be given.
 - All scholarships are subject to the continued availability of funding.
 - Available for domestic students only.Ìý
 - Scholarship ends when a bachelor's degree is attained.
 
Priority Deadline to Apply for Admission and Register for Classes
- Awarding concludes when funds are exhausted.Ìý
 - For summer/fall 2026 the priority deadline to apply for admission is April 15, 2026. Register for classes by August 1, 2026.
 - For spring 2027, the priority deadline to apply for admission is November 1, 2026. Register for classes by January 1, 2027.
