Schafer Named Homecoming Professor of The Game

MACOMB, IL - - ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration (LEJA) faculty member John Schafer has been selected as the University's Professor of the Game for Saturday's Homecoming game.
Schafer will be honored during the game for his contributions to WIU and his dedication to student success.

The "Professor of the Game" honor is awarded to outstanding faculty members who demonstrate excellence in teaching, mentorship and commitment to the University community.

"Dr. John R. Schafer is a retired FBI Special Agent who is currently employed as a professor at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University in the School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. Dr. Schafer served as behavioral analyst assigned to the FBI's National Security Behavioral Analysis Program. Dr. Schafer is an amazing professor. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the classroom and I am so excited that he is being recognized for his outstanding teaching skills," Jamie Johnson, LEJA director said.
