The University of Nebraska has three different tools for academic teaching & learning, non-credit courses and training & compliance. Each of the systems are products of , an open, extensible learning ecosystem for schools of all sizes. Administrators and educators integrate the systems and applications they need to support students in various learning environments.

Canvas (Academic Teaching and Learning)

Canvas is the official academic Learning Management System across the University of Nebraska System. The following are examples of content delivered:

• Academic for-credit courses and programs
• Academic credentialing
• Non-credit learning opportunities (����ֱ�� Advance)

����ֱ�� Advance, our non-credit LMS, is supported by a collaborative team of ITS, ����ֱ�� Online and campus leads. The following are examples of content delivered:

• External Training/Non-credit courses (free to students or on a paid basis)
• Certificates or micro-credentials/digital badging

Bridge

����ֱ��’s instance of  is supported by a collaborative team of ITS, campus compliance and HR leads. The following are examples of content delivered:

• HR and compliance courses
• Internal training requiring tracking/reminders
• Ad-hoc training for various technology-based tools 
• Certificate/badge of completion for ����ֱ�� or campus-specific courses

None of the Above

There are a variety of things that would not be suitable for any of these systems. Some of these include registration for events, hosting youth camps and some other types of training and or hosting of events on campus or virtually. Campus teams have a variety of other systems that may be more suitable. Please see below for additional detail:
