MACOMB, IL – A memorial service for ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University employee Sherry Jeanine King LaVingon will be held from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24 at the Marietta, IL home of Donnie and Cindy Swartbaugh, 22860 Highway 95.
LaVingon worked in various capacities at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ over the years, including as a records officer in Admissions and as a clerk for the WIU Counseling Center and for University Housing and Dining. She began working at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ in 1993 in the WIU Office of the Registrar.
She passed away Friday, Oct. 9 at The Elms in Macomb.
