WIU Mourns Death of Physical Plant Employee

MACOMB, IL – Mike Ogle, 57, transportation manager of ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University's Physical Plant, passed away Dec. 2 in Macomb.
"The ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ Illinois University community mourns Mike's death," said President Jack Thomas. "We extend our condolences and our thoughts to his family and friends."
Ogle began working at ´ºÓêÖ±²¥ as an automotive mechanic in January 1989. He was named a garage sub-forman in 2003 and foreman in 2008. Ogle was named manager of transportation services in May 2012.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6 at Jones Mortuary in Colchester. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at the funeral home.
